The Addison Toll House is one of two remaining toll houses in Pennsylvania
that served the National Road (now US40) in the 1800's. Located
in the Allegheny Mountians in Addison about 30 miles east of Uniontown,
it is constructed of stone, an uncommon construction material for
tollhouses of the period.
